BOUTIQUE VOCAL COACHING

TESTIMONIALS

"Georgia Train is quite simply one of the best vocal coaches around. With a thorough anatomical understanding of her instrument Georgia instructed me through vocal rehabilitation. Georgia's talents don't stop at her technical knowledge but spill into her ability to communicate the proper use of what is essentially an invisible instrument. People forget that being exceptional at your instrument does not always mean you can teach it. Georgia, however has mastered both.
Years of experience really show in her teaching; from the physical and mental that affect our voices and confidence, to the solid career and vocal health advice in which she holds a wealth of understanding. Not least Georgia is a kind and motivational coach. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anybody."

"Georgia is a wonderfully talented vocal coach, who really listens to what you are looking to get out of your sessions, and tailors your lessons for you. I came to Georgia as a very experienced singer, who has had some voice recovery problems following an operation on my vocal chords. I was hoping Georgia would be able to help me recover the lost parts of my voice.
She has been so caring and patient with me, and has really helped focus and speed up my recovery. I have been really pleased with progress so far. As well as recovering parts of my voice I was worried I had lost forever, I have also learnt a lot about my own technique that has perhaps gotten lazy after years of constant gigging.
I have been to many singing teachers before for a technique tidy up, but being a professional singer and having done some vocal coaching myself before, it is rare to find someone who isn't intimidated, and that can give you the tips and guidance that you are looking for."

'With her depthless knowledge in all areas singing; technical, anatomical and mental, Georgia has taken me, within a year, from a guitarist who tried to sing, to what you might now call a singer who plays guitar. No question of mine has gone unanswered. Even though it's been a year, she has so much knowledge and experience in this field that I could see her for a good few more years and still learn so much each time.
From a songwriting point of view, it is so clear why Georgia is working at the level she is, many times I have taken songs or bits and pieces to her and often one sentence of advice will make something click, or give me a light bulb moment! There have been pieces of advice that will probably stay with me and my writing for as long as I'm still doing it!
Georgia has also been a huge help in strategy planning/creative consultancy. I find the things we discuss in these meetings invaluable as only experience can be of any worth. My words to her, in regards to a release plan for 2 singles and an EP, were "I feel as though I'm in a forest and don't really know where I'm going." However, within an hour we had a solid plan that has filled me with confidence. Had this meeting not have taken place, I would have covered about 20% of the plan that is now in place.'

FOR CLIENTS WITH VOCAL DAMAGE

Georgia works closely with patients suffering from or recovering from vocal damage such as nodules, polyps and cysts. She has a 100% success rate as her evidence that she can help support your recovery and work with you to reverse damage and ultimately restore your voice.

Georgia worked wonders for my voice. I was referred to her by the hospital after my first vocal appointment where I was told I had developed Nodules.
With one consultation session Georgia was able to distinguish exactly what help I needed and she got to work right away with a development plan. Over a course of 15 lessons that focused mostly on technique, my voice improved dramatically and I was able to hit notes I hadn’t been able to reach in over a year.
The Nodule did shrink as much as they were going to and I had the operation to have the rest removed. With Georgia’s training haven’t strained my voice since and I have recovered perfectly. My voice is now 100% again and my new improved technique allows me to sing clearly and naturally without getting tired or straining my voice.
